60s Bungalow Kitchen Renovation
The white and black colour palette kitchen renovation was all about class, functionality, and keeping it timeless. The grey and white tiles on the wall behind the sink also complement the colour palette nicely. We painted the wall in the dining area to create a cohesive-looking space. With a brief to transform the kitchen into a functional and beautiful space without overblowing the budget, we were able to achieve this by transforming the kitchen from the 60s to a contemporary space.
Transformation tip:
It is possible to create a functional and beautiful space without changing the layout as this helps to minimize cost and keeps the budget reasonable. The key here was to remove the hanging cabinets, paint the cabinets, switch to more modern light fixtures, and also update the countertops thereby transforming the kitchen into a much more functional and contemporary space great for entertaining.
